Volunteers Needed

Rainhill High requires Covid volunteers in various testing roles. Even though the school is closed for most pupils, they remain open for all vulnerable and children of critical workers.  They are also continuing with our mass testing programme and are looking for volunteers to help with this. Please find attached the advert with a brief description of the roles.

Recycling & Waste Festive Collections

Dear Resident,

FOR INFORMATION ONLY

Recycling and waste crews will be hard at work over the festive period, but public holidays mean there will be some changes to the normal collection calendar.

Crews will not be operating on the public holidays of Friday 25th December, Monday 28th December and Friday 1st January but will be working on the following three Saturdays.

The easiest way to check your collection dates over the festive period is to enter your postcode online at
https://www.sthelens.gov.uk/collections

Please have your containers out from 6:30am on collection day.

Residents are advised that due to the increase in recycling tonnage over Christmas and New Year some recycling collections may be done via a normal rear-loading bin wagon, with comingled recyclables sent on for sorting. In this event food waste will be collected separately.
